Clémentine Dupré’s porcelain works send us back to a world coming into existence. The sensual and silent purity of these forms contrasts with the accumulation of sound and this pearl-like decor, therefore granting the clay a strange organic dimension. An impression of molecular contagion and/or movement in her infinitely small “micro-organism” collection, or the draft of an architectural structure in construction with her “Sketch” collection. What is the motive? To seek the fragile balance of constantly changing organic or architectural patterns that are inspired by the twists and turns of human nature.
