Thanks to the talent of the designer John Clappison, this functional crockery with simple forms is distinguished by the very contemporary strength of his graphic lines, the imagination of his figurative sketches and the original technique of reserve printing, which underlines the depth of the decor. What is the motive? Purely decorative through these geometric patterns, but also satirical for the “The World’s Best” series, an ironic glimpse over the customs and stereotypes of our society.
