The unexpected encounter between textile, canvas painting and tableware, initiated by two collectors, Marcello De Simone and Bruce Wayland.The stoneware collection “From a different cloth” appeals to the sense of touch and recalls the rough density of linen. The printed textile pattern, as well as its weft and stitches seem to be integrated within the shape. “Altered perspectives” is a series of paintings applied on old plates which come to shake up our references. What is the motive? To trick our perception of the material and make us consider the importance of what already exists in the creative process.
